Stories from The Shadowlands
In this section, there are various stories from Bearers of Jade, the First Edition of the Role Playing Game, originally published by AEG, 1999.

Note: These stories were written before 2000 and may portray, intentionally or unintentionally, attitudes and biases that would not be acceptable in current RPG fiction. The current designers of L5R should not be held in account for any of the pieces here. Some of these attitudes and biases have been removed from modern descriptions of Rokugan. An offensive term for burakumin may be used in these fictions.
Many of these pieces describe horrible and traumatic events. Trigger warnings for murder, suicide, bodily harm of many types, mental and physical violence, definitely apply, and some of them are quite grotesque even for those not particularly sensitive to such depictions.
